Author visit

Many of you have asked about authors for visiting.  Last week we hosted
Judith and Dennis Fradin.  Between them they have authored, or co-authored
dozens of books.  Among them are Bound for the North Star and Ida B.
Wells, and many, many more non-fiction titles.

They were a delight to have.  Grades 4-6 are prime targets.  They
discussed research in libraries, on the Internet, microfiche, the writing
process, and where the ideas come from.

They have a number of different presentations they can do, and while we
didn't take them up on it here, they also suggested doing two groups at
once since there were two of them.
