Hello! I have been given the exciting job of selecting/recommending a new automation system for my school. I am in a very small K-8 private school (under 300 children), but I do have a fantastic library - over 9,000 volumes and counting. The automation system is archaic- over 7 years old and is the only thing pulling this library back. I have been charged with replacing it and have been looking into Follett's Catalog/Circulation Plus, Follett's Destiny, Sagebrush's Athena and Mandarin. I am leaning toward the web-based Destiny, but would love to know everyone's opinions and experiences with any and all of these systems. I get the feeling that Mandarin may be too broad (and therefore too expensive) for my needs and that Destiny's web-based platform is helfpul to students from home. Email me off-line and I'll post a hit, as I know there are many others who have the same need for information! Best, Rachel L.
