Dear LM_NET Colleagues,
I recently started to place an order with a new (to us) vendor of videos
(mef.tv). They have a focus on "alternative" interpretations of media and
current events. For example, one of their titles is: Hijacking
Catastrophe: 9/11, Fear & the Selling of American Empire. It is very
critical of the current U.S. government. I ordered the videos because I am
attempting to provide a range of viewpoints on this and other contemporary
issues.
Our purchase order was sent back to the school from the district business
office with a question related to a need for the library to provide
"balanced" information. I explained to our principal that the videos
addressed one or more of our state standards, and he seemed satisfied.
My question is, have you had any problems with the videos provided by this
company? If so, how were they resolved.
