My principal has just asked me to find out about a projection system for our school. In the past, we have just used the TVators which allow what is posted on the teacher computer's desktop to be put on the TV screen. However, several teachers now have laptops that are not programmed for the network and they would like us to get a projection system to make them more usable for classroom instruction. Also, if they wanted to use something in a room without a TV, they can't. I have several questions--- 1. Does anyone have a specific projection system they really like? 2. If it is to be used in an auditorium setting (I'm thinking Open House or graduation), and music/audio/video clips are put into a Power Point do these systems have speaker systems or is that a separate issue? 3. If the speaker system is separate, then what do you use? 4. Can you get a really good system for a mid-range price? Thanks for any and all suggestions.
