Although I appreciate Karen's concerns about fines -- I don't have a decent
budget - sometimes the budge it 0. We have to rely on tuition money - and as
we only have 475 students - that has to cover salaries, gas and electric,
materials, etc. Every penny counts. We also believe that students need to
learn responsibility. The materials are not theirs - we must be good
stewards of all God has given us - and that includes library materials. I do
allow students to work off fine if money is a problem.
