[LM_NET] Tech: Bar code scanner

I'm using Winnebago Circ/Cat for Mac. It's old but it still runs on our Mac LC575!!

We are planning on buying Spectrum. It's part of the budget for next year. 
Sagebrush has informed us that they won't support Circ/Cat for Mac after this 
school year. 

But now my bar code scanner is acting wacky. I need this to last another 8 months!!!

It beeps three and four times when we are scanning books. It beeps when we lay it 
on the table. It seems to have a mind of it's own. 

We used to let the kids check out their own books, but now we can't trust the 
scanner so we have to do it ourselves. 

Any idea what we can do?
