[LM_NET] OT: digital phone service

Hello!

We have a great promotion going locally for digital phone service and
I'm considering it.  It would save me around $25 a month, but it's so
new, I'm hesitant.  Does anyone out there have experience with digital
phone service?  It is offered through our cable company.  I know that
one of the downfalls is that the phone doesn't work when the power is
out, but we have cell phones for emergencies.  Anything else I need to
watch out for?
