LM_NET Archive

Once again, I can't keep my mouth shut on this one. I am thrilled with the
new subject line!!!

In the past few months, I have noticed that more and more messages are
coming through LM_NET without descriptors (TARGET, HIT, BOOK, GEN,etc.). I
am assuming that many of the new members are posting without understanding
the use of subjects. A few members have posted messages without any subject
line at all. I am also on many listsevs, teach online classes and get lots
of spam daily. So often I've just discarded messages that had no
descriptive subject. Now I am in a position of reading everything from
LM_NET rather than lumping some of the messages with the ads for cheap
medicine, new mortgages and other unsavory items and tossing into the
DELETE box.

Re: the caps of the new subject line
This is similar to the style of other lists and definitely makes the
messages distinct and easy for me to sort.

Thanks for this new service.
