I've seen this asked on the list before, but I've never seen an answer.
I know that there are different video format standards in the world
(VHS,PAL). Does that hold true for DVDs as well? Specifically, can I buy
a DVD from Australia and have it work in my DVD player? There is an old
movie that I'd really like to get a copy of, but it doesn't seem to be
currently available in the United States on video or DVD.
