[LM_NET] book fairs

To all those looking for an alternative to Scholastic and especially those
in parochial schools,
        From a recommendation on this list serve this fall, I tried the
Adventureland Book Fair out of Plano, Texas and it was a wonderful
experience.  We had a tabletop book fair.  The materials are well organized
and the company will tailor the books to your population.  We took rain
checks with pre-payment for titles.  We faxed our order and the books were
delivered 4 days later. Parents, teachers and students were happy and we
received over 25% of our sales in cash and an additional 5% in books.  There
is also additional profits for parochial schools.  Paul and Steve Sobieski,
the owners are wonderful to work with and the telephone and e-mail support
are great.  I cannot recommend them highly enough.  We will definitely book
another fair with them next year.
