My sister, age 49, has been diagnosed with Low-Grade Endometrial
Stromal Sarcoma (LGESS). This is a somewhat rare uterine cancer. She
found this out after having a hysterectomy two weeks ago. I have done
an internet search and she is getting a second (and maybe third)
opinion. Treatment options listed on the internet and info from
medical professionals (so far) vary. My sister is a nurse so she is
also asking people she knows for information. I thought that I would
ask my 17,000 online friends as well. If anyone has information to
share, please send it to me off-list and I will pass it on to her or
put you directly in touch with her if that would be all right.
