My junior US history teacher would like to do a project this trimester
comparing a current event to a historical event. An example would be
like the AIDS epidemic and the plague. Things that have similarities.
Make sense? I have looked everywhere. The only two that were close
were Bush's new foreign policy approach compared to the Monroe Doctrine
and the Iraq-Cuban missle crisis and Truman and the A-bomb.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
