I'm a research librarian working for Educational Development Center (EDC) in Massachusetts. We've received funding from NSF to develop a Web site that will help children (particularly minorities and girls) ages 11-13 focus on career choices in science, math, engineering and information technology. Forgive me if this question has already been asked, but in trawling the LM_Archives I couldn't find what I was looking for, namely, career resource information for middle school kids. I'm particularly interested in hearing what school library media specialists get asked for in terms of career literacy. And when you're asked, to what resources do you point your kids? Of special interest to us will be things on the Web, but it is also nice to hear about any media that you can recommend. Many thanks.
