[LM_NET] HIT: barcode scanners

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about replacing barcode
scanners.  The general consensus was not to replace it until it was broken.
The newer ones are apparently a little bit faster and may read some things
that the older ones don't.  There may be a need to replace a scanner when
upgrading the program.  Follett will not service older models.  One person
suggested purchasing from Barcode Discount Warehouse at www.bcdw.com .
