The process is called Electrostatic Painting. Do a Google search for
Electrostatic in your area. The metal cabinets are sanded, cleaned, and
masked off. The cabinets are grounded and the paint and paint gun are
positively charged. There is hardly any overspray, however the smell is not
good! This should be done during the summer, with PLENTY of ventilation. I
have done some of this kind of painting for about eight years.
