[LM_NET] Target: True Life Stories

Hi Everyone!  I have a student that is looking for true to life stories such as 
Hatchet and The Watsons Go to Birmingham.  Does anyone know of any other books that 
would be similar to these.  I suggested the Little House books, but I think that 
she is looking for books that take place now instead of in the past.
