My teachers just love a new program we purchased this year called Stationery Studio. It allows the printing of a variety of shapes with different configurations of lines inside the page borders, or no lines at all. The pages can be used for hand written materials, or using one of several manuscript and cursive fonts, the writing can be done on the computer. Color print outs are available, or grayscale when done on a B&W printer, or you can omit the color and have black lines only for students to color. The print menu allows one, two, and four copies per page of the same or different pages which can be folded into a book. Obviously, the shaped pages can be cut to use for shape books. Line configurations include those needed for writing letters, and templates for matching envelopes, with lines if desired, are included. The teachers have used it to spice up communications with parents, and for a wide variety of student activities. Dotted-line versions of the fonts are available for handwriting practice sheets personalized for each child. This is a Peggy Healey Stearns product that has been very well received by my colleagues.
