On the subject of birthdays, a number of Old Testament scholars believe Job
makes reference to birthdays in Job 1:4, where Job's sons would host a
feast, each on "his day"; i.e., his birthday. If so, this would serve to
cast birthdays in a more positive light.

Not to be critical, but to correct, there are actually two birthday
celebrations mentioned in the Bible. The first is in Genesis 40, when
Pharoah of Egypt celebrated his birthday, during which the head baker's
head was cut off. The second is in Matthew 14.6, when Herod celebrated
his birthday, the result of which John the Baptist's head was cut off.

Something for Bible readers to think about: if there are only two
examples of birthday celebrations in the Bible, neither were Israelites
or Christians but "pagan" rulers, and both resulted in gruesome death,
what can we conclude is the Bible's stand on birthday celebrations?

There is no example of people celebrating birthdays in
the Bible.
