[LM_NET] MIDDLE: Humorous Book for Book Club

I am working on a list of books for my 7th and 8th grade book club.  So far I have 
Tangerine, Touching Spirit Bear, Tomorrow when the War Began and House of the 
Scorpion.
I'd like to add some lighter books to this list. The kids have asked for something 
funny and I'd like to add a fantasy, something that is not as well known because I 
have a lot of avid fantasy readers.
I'd appreciate any suggestions I can get.  Thank you so much.
