My wife & I saw the movie, "The Forgotten" today & enjoyed it. However, that forever-present "librarian" part of me couldn't help notice that in the scene inside the NYC Library branch, where the main character is inquiring at the desk about her search for a newspaper article, the background shows a host of patrons happily using the card catalog....not 1 computer in the whole place (that I could see). Now, I'm starting to 2nd guess myself....is any NYC Library branch STILL using the card catalog???? Or is this just a case of Hollywood having "forgotten" that Libraries also live in the 21st Century? Just curious.
