Sorry for taking so long to get back to you with this hit. I was requesting books/series/encyclopedias for research about animals for grades 7 to 9. Thanks everyone for your input. Here are the suggestions. a) Zoo Books b) Wildlife and plants of the world published by Marshall Cavendish – 16 volumes c) Mammals a 10 volume set published by Grolier d) National Audubon Society field guide to North American mammals by Whitaker, John O.; Hardcover 1996 - 16.96 e) Mammals of North America by Forsyth, Adrian.; Hardcover 1999 - 33.96 f) Encyclopedia of mammals Encyclopedia of mammals / edited by David Macdonald ; assistant editor, Sasha Norris. Publisher Facts on File, c2001. g) Sorting out mammals : everything you want to know about marsupial... by Woods, Samuel G.; Hardcover 1999 - 19.95 h) Animal fact file : head-to-tail profiles of more than 90 mammals by Hare, Tony.; Hardcover 1999 - 39.96 i) Mammals by Parker, Edward, 1961-; Hardcover 2003 - 20.95 j) Grolier has a couple of good sets on animals you might look into. They also have some individual books on animals. k) Encyclopedia of Mammals (pub. by Marshall Cavendish) l) Endangered Wildlife of the World, pub. by Marshall Cavendish m) Wildlife Fact File n) \abdo and daughters has a wonderful animal checkerboard series Once again, thanks for your input.
