Ugh, I so hate Lexile. But anyway, we have six graders reading at the college
level. They all have to read books in their level and take Reading Counts tests on
them. Problem is the subject matter of most of these books in not age appropriate.
I work in an ultra-conservative community. These people get up in arms about the
least little thing. So....any suggestions? Dump RC? Wish I could.
