One of my spanish teachers was in the library - her students were researching
spanish artists. We would have loved to use Google images, but alas, our IT guy has
those blocked. Suddenly, she came running up to me and whispered that she thinks
she found away around the block - she typed in www.google.br (for brazil) and got
all the google images she wanted on the Brazilian google website. So I tried
www.google.es (for spain) and alas, got the Spanish google site and images...same
thing for France (www.google.fr). The only draw back is if you're looking for
images of birds on one of these sites you have to know what bird is in French or
spanish or portugese...
Anyway, maybe everyone knows this already, and I'm just a late bloomer...
