Our PTA is having an auction and encouraging staff to participate.=20

I am considering having a Friday sleepover for 10 friends. The kids =
would come around 7:30pm. We'd read, tell stories, play board games, and =
watch videos on the big screen TV, maybe walk around the school with =
only the security lights on. I would require that one other adult be =
here to chaperone with me. I know it will be work but I anticipate (and =
so do the parents with whom I've spoken) that this probably would appeal =
to students with whom I would enjoy spending a night. My husband who is =
a great cook would bring breakfast out in the morning and parents could =
pick their children up by 8:30am Saturday morning.

The other thing I'm considering is "A Night of Scary Stories in the =
Library." Up to 12 students and their parents could come for an hour of =
scary stories in the library. I love telling scary stories but seldom =
have the time to do that anymore. I'm sure this would appeal to a =
different group than the sleepover. By including parents, I hope to =
eliminate potential behavior problems.=20

Has anyone done something like these two things? If you have could you =
give me some suggestions as to what to include or not include. I will be =
turning in my auction items next week. The PTA does so much to help me =
that I want to do something fun to help them.
