Our automation system requires that I occasionally print barcode labels. = When I recently printed some on two different laser printers using = Avery 5160 labels I find that when I try to peel them off the page to = apply them to another surface - a book, magazine or a borrower card, = they smear off all over the place. Interestingly, they don't smear when = they are still on the original sheet. The box was labeled JAM_FREE and = SMUDGE-FREE. Any ideas what the problem is? Cheryl A. Sturgeon Elem. Media Spec.
