[LM_NET] Target: What is a great thing to purchase in special ed?

Hi.  The special Ed teacher for elementary just came to me and said
she has $1,000 to spend and needs to do it NOW (as in yhesterday.)
Is there anything that you have found is very helpful in that
department?  I suggested audio books and she will buy some of those.
She was wondering about text book type materials.  Do you know of
anything off the top of your head that the special ed kids use and
find very helpful?  TIA
