Rather than do a language arts lesson on poetry, I would like to do one or two lessons on how to find poetry. So far the locations I have thought of are: poetry books and anthologies I have a battery-operated flashing finger pointer to hang above the bookshelf with poetry on it. poetry readings greeting cards songs prayers tombstones For the answer "in myself," I am going to get a refrigerator door from a nearby appliance store and hope to put it in the front lobby with lots of magnetic poetry tiles and paper for kids and teachers to copy down what they create since their poems won't stay in place very long I'm sure you can add some locations that will make me think, "Oh, yes, duh!" Thanks very much, in advance, for your help. . Pat Bartoshesky, Librarian Highlands (elem.)
