I want to thank everyone who wrote to tell me that I do not HAVE to highlite the entire range of cells when pasting text from one spreadsheet into a second spreadsheet. At home, I had Office 95, and you used to have to do that. But at work, with Office XP, all I have to do is click in the first cell and then when I past, the text from all the cells will fall into place. I want to thank everyone who wrote to tell me this trick. That zooming ahead thing Excel was doing was making me nuts--I was pulling my hair out, and I can ill afford that as it all seems to grow in gray. Dawn M.
