[LM_NET] TARGET: GEN: Question about The Diary of Anne Frank

I have a student who needs to know if there is any mention in the book
of what kinds of foods/meals that the Frank family ate while in hiding.
I know that the people hiding them brought them food, but does anyone
very familiar with the book know if any specific foods are mentioned?
For her senior project, this student researched the holocaust and the
Frank family  and wrote a paper. But the students must also produce a
product, which must tie in with the paper in some way. So she has
decided to prepare a meal with foods that the Frank family would have
eaten. We can search the internet for recipes, but we need some ideas
for the foods first. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
