I choose all translations.....so much easier for students to then compare
versions. In class we use Good News Bible (because a parent gave us 1,000
copies -- so we gave each student a Bible. During the day I personally read
The Message, NRSV, NKJ. I would think it would depend on your needs.

We have many Protestant students, some Mormons (who only use KJ), many
Catholics of course, some Muslim, some Witnesses, etc. So, I try to cover
everyone's preference.
