Our short stories are, for the most part, filed in the Fiction section (by author) as are our Science Fiction and Fantasy anthologies. Some of the short story anthologies are placed in the 800s. I think it has to do with the cataloger and how they interpret cataloging. Our library opened in 1925, and we have had many catalogers along the way--some trained and some not-so-trained. As I find these books in the 800s, I send them down to our cataloger for recataloging into the Fiction collection. Whew! That's a lot of "cataloging." Mary L.
