[LM_NET] need help finding a picture book

circa 6 years ago...
a patron read to her son a story about a little girl who lived on a farm
who invites one animal after another to lunch, because the animal she
previously invited could not make it.
there is some kind of rhyme in the story containing the words "on my
knee"
 
any suggestions appreciated!
