I posted this message earlier, but only received one response. It appears that there are more of us online now so I'll try again: (original message) I am just beginning this search and am looking for an online reading assessment to use with secondary students (9-12)--something similar to STAR reading would be nice. I would like something that students can read online, answers questions etc. and then get feed back on their reading abilities. Does anyone have a recommendation? Additional comment: I do know about the Scholastic tool that uses Lexile scores. Two key components are FREE and I'd like something that uses grade levels to indicate reading abilities.
