[LM_NET] OT: Adoption is imminent

Some of you may remember my plea for help and information when my
husband and I began our journey of adopting a student who had been
sent back into the foster care system. Well, almost a year and
mountains of red tape later we are seeing the light at the end of the
tunnel.
On Friday, August 5th we will hold a "placement ceremony" as Kenya
comes to live with us full time. We will be under the watchful eye of
DFCS for at least 3 months and then we will be released to formally
adopt this wonderful little girl.
I want to thank all of you who offered encouragement, support, and
information to help my family on this journey. I'm sure there will be
challenges ahead (we're still in the honeymoon period) and I may come
back with pleas for help and suggestions. I hope the coming school
year is wonderful for all of you and I appreciate your prayers and
kind words!
