Do you like adventure? Are you willing to be like an ambassador to another country? Learn about the education, history and culture of Saudi Arabia. I have participated in this opportunity. Our group was exteremely safe, and treated like royalty. I know most educators don't often get a chance to stay in 4 or 5 star hotels, ride a camel, watch sunsets over gigantic red sand dunes, shop in an open air market, or talk with Ministers of Finance from another country. These were just a few of the items on our itenerary. If this sounds interesting to you, I encourage you to apply. The program dates for the Aramco Educators to Saudi Arabia Program (changed from Teachers to Saudi Arabia) will be November 18 - December 3, 2005. The program is for social studies teachers and library media specialists in grades 1-12 who teach in California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Texas and Washington, DC. In order to recruit another group of 20 excellent social studies teachers and library media specialists for the Aramco Educators to Saudi Arabia Program, we are asking for your help. We need your enthusiastic participation and support in the recruiting process! The application deadline is coming up soon...September 9, 2005.
