Our middle school will celebrate our 20th year this October, 2005. I would
like to show the 1985 segment of the VH1 80s series to our students to give
them some idea of what was going on in one aspect of our pop culture at the
time. I called Programming at VH1 and found out that the program is not
available for sale. Then I contacted legal services at VH1 and was assured
that they welcome off air taping of these programs to be used in schools.
Sunday, August 21, 2005, VH1 will air The 80s Strikes Back. The show will
start with 1982 at 3:00 Eastern DST and continue through 1986. I would be
very grateful if someone would tape the 1985 segment and send it to me
first class mail to the address below. I will gladly reimburse the kind
soul for the tape and postage. Thank you.
