Our book club (adult teachers) decided to read some YA novels and adult novels. 
Here is our list 
Aug. Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Sept. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Oct. Gregor the Overlander (chosen this year as a Texas Bluebonnet selection)
Nov. Little Altars Everywhere Rebecca Wells
Dec. Skipping Christmas John Grisham
Jan. A Child Called It Dave Pelzer
Feb. A Man Named Dave Dave Pelzer
Mar. The  Poisonwood Bible Barbara Kinsolver
April The Tarnished Eye Judith Guest
 
In fact our first meeting is today to discuss Speak. We have a group of about 16 
strong and meet at a different local restaurant/watering hole once monthly to 
discuss.
