I trying to convert a Word document into an Adobe document. It's a large Word file,
about 50 pages long. Since I'm the only staff member who has Adobe Acrobat
Professional on their computer for converting documents for the webpage, the task
of converting documents naturally falls on my shoulders. :-) I have never had a
problem like this one before. This is the school directory, designed by a PTO
parent. The Word document looks beautiful, no flaws. But when I convert it into a
.pdf file, somewhere in the middle the formatting gets messed up and the pages
don't break exactly the same, so that text that belongs together is getting split
between pages. The parent and I have tried to fiddle with the original formatting
and nothing is working.

Is there anything I can do with the options or preferences in Adobe Acrobat
Professional that will help me convert this document cleanly and evenly so that all
the pages break exactly the same as in the original document?

Thanks for you help! I'm going nuts with this problem!!
