Hi-- My principal has asked me to bring leveling into the library so I have read with interest the archives on leveled books in the library. This is something that is going to happen so I'm trying to figure out the best way to make it work. Our school works with the Columbia Teachers College Reading and Writing Program which advocates leveling books using Fountas & Pinnell Guided Reading Levels. I am interested in hearing the experiences, ideas and practical guidelines of librarians whose schools work with the Columbia program and who have introduced leveling in their library. Thanks in advance for your guidance and wisdom. --Jackie Jackie Richardson Library Media Specialist Carrie E.
