[LM_NET] TAR: Very Short Novel

Hi LM_NETters!

I had teacher request a book title that she could do with her 8th 
graders in a week. The students have limited english skills. She 
would like a title that would build vocabulary. Can you think of any 
very short novels or short stories that I could recommend? The 
students have a wide interests.
