Hello again, I am still looking for the pond activity the demonstrates the food web. I think it's a java sort of thing. It's a grid and there are all the elements that make up the interconnectedness of a pond (sun, plants, algae, small fish, bugs, big fish, a fisherman, a mammal or two) and when you click on one to delete it, it starts a cascade effect. So, you hit the sun and then the plants disappear and then the bugs, and then the little fish, etc. Or you click the big fish and the little fish multiply. It's not shaped like a pond, it's like a 9 or 16 square grid. I think it's got an olive green background and the elements are line drawings. It really is a cool little simulation and I've had tons of people requesting me to post a hit. If only I could! I saw it just a couple of weeks ago, and now I can't find it anywhere, despite searching with every term I can think of on Google, SIRS, DLESE, and elsewhere. So, if you know this website please respond--still looking for that HIT! Thanks again! Marcia S.
