[LM_NET] Entries #1 & #2

I am about to start all over on the National Board entries #1 and #2.
In trying to analyze my low scores on these portfolios I have come up
with three weak areas.  I believe that I need some ideas in the
following areas.  
 
1.  What kinds of projects would be considered worthwhile in both #1 and
#2?  
2.  What portion of the evaluation in #1 should the librarian perform?
3.  How can student progress be measured?
