I love Robert Sabuda's pop-up Christmas books--and so do my students!
I'd round that out with The Polar Express for the picture book crowd,
and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever for the chapter book crew.
I also want to recommend a new title, Winter Lights: A Season in Poems &
Quilts, by Anna Grossnickle Hines. It features brief poems just right
for the elementary crowd about winter, Christmas, Hanukkah, and other
winter festivals. The book is illustrated with glorious quilted
pictures. (I bought lots of copies from a recent book fair; two for
school and the rest to give as gifts this year.)

Hello All!
I am doing collection development for my elementary library
and was purchasing Christmas books. I wondered if you would
