Hello all,

I am in the process of writing a paper for a mythology and folklore class
and have run into a little confusion. The paper is discussing of the use of
mythologies within the Harry Potter books. My question is this I know JK
Rowling uses many different mythologies Celtic, Scandinavian, and Greek but in my
research some of the creatures like the Boggart and Mermaids come from
English folklore----is Celtic myth part of English folklore.

Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
