As some of you might remember, I started trying to get more books
back on time with a bunch of hoopla for classes who got all books
back on any given library day. (And smaller hoopla for those where I
didn't have to send any letters home on a given library day.) A year
ago last June I had ALL books in or accounted for before the end of
school. I have another record set. I have a first grade class who
has brought all their books back 7 (that is SEVEN) weeks in a row. I
was astounded when they had three in a row. They just keep on doing
it. As with any class getting All Books Back, they borrow two of my
puppets for a week for their classroom, and they all get a special
book mark. I think last year I had one class that had four All Books
Back by June. Not consecutive, just total.

Yahooo!
