I have a son who is in 9th grade English and is looking for suggestions for a fiction title to read that makes a person think and has a moral to it. After reading the title the students will be asked to respond to the following questions: What is the significance of the title? Are names of characters, settings, or objects chosen appropriately, ironically, or accidentally? What is the nature of the conflict? What is its resolution? How has the author foreshadowed the work's conclusion? He has read a fair amount of fantasy and could be looking at other types of genres. Thank-you very much, -- Nancy Stiner nstiner@mchsi.com <mailto:nstiner@mchsi.com> 7-12 Media Specialist Iowa Falls Community School District <http://www.iowa-falls.k12.ia.us/>, Iowa Falls, Iowa Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
