[LM_NET] TAR=>Book Recommendation Needed

I have a student and his parents that have donated $75.00 to the library in honor 
of his three academic teachers for Christmas.  I wanted to get some books that the 
student would like.  He says that he likes horror stories, particularly Stephen 
King; however, I am wary about including his works in a middle school collection.  
I am looking for some recommendations of books by him or other comparable authors 
that would be appropriate for a middle school library in a rural Southern community.
