I discovered the same thing recently. I saw a laser pointer pen at Walgreen's
priced 2 for $5.00! I was really thinking of my huge wall maps when I bought it,
but when I tried it out in my big one room library with low shelves and tables in
the middle, I too realized I could use it to point all the way to the back wall and
say "right here", bottom shelf...... NOTE: I AM a one-person operation with no
volunteers, no assistant, and teachers who usually do not stay. If I'm stuck at
the desk checking out a line of 10 students, and someone asks for help locating
something, it's a really easy way to do it!
