Well, I know now that I am definitely teaching a new generation. I monitor
the parent pick-up kids and students who walk home after school. It was
raining the other day and some of my walkers get picked up by parents on
rainy/snowy days. One of my 2nd grade walkers said, "I don't think my mom will
pick
me up today. She doesn't know it's raining because we don't get cable." (I
suppose he meant The Weather Channel.) I guess it didn't dawn on him that
she could just look outside. Ha!
