When I had a high school English teacher tell me that she was certain that a paper was a plagarism from the Internet, but wasn't sure how to prove it, I told her to do the following. "Google" it. That is, enter a significant phrase or particular words in the Google search box, and let google do the search. In many cases, the original location is easily located.
